This Standard specifies the manually and electrically operated nursing beds principally intended for use in medical facilities that are capable of stepless adjustment of the angle of the back and leg sections, platform height and/or inclination of the whole bottom. It is not applicable to the beds for medical care, the beds for children, the beds for a particular function and the electrically operated adjustable beds for home use.
