DIN EN 61000-4-15 VDE 0847-4-15:2011-10

This standard contains the German version of the second edition of the European Standard EN 61000-4-15:2011 and is identical with the second edition of the International Standard IEC 61000-4-15 (edition 2010). It gives a functional description and specifications for the design of flicker measuring devices. Additionally to the requirements also the relevant type tests are given. Techniques to improve the accuracy of flickermeter evaluation were described in annex A. In relation to the previous edition three flickermeter classes F1, F2 and F3 were introduced and existing definitions were clarified and new definitions were added. Furthermore specifications for 120-V-/50-Hz- and 230-V-/60-Hz-networks were added. Moreover methods for the direct measurement of the d parameter were introduced. Furthermore the description of insulation, climatic and EMC tests were replaced by a reference to applicable standards. Finally sub-clause B.1 and annex C were added.
