DIN EN 62311 VDE 0848-211:2008-09

This standard contains the German version of the European EMF Generic Standard EN 62311 and is identical with the International EMF Generic Standard IEC 62311. It contains requirements for the to demonstration of the compliance with the basic restrictions or reference levels given for the safety of persons in electromagnetic fields in the frequency range 0 Hz bis 300 GHz from electronic and electrical apparatus for which no dedicated product or product family standard regarding human exposure to electromagnetic fields applies. Equipment, which fulfils the requirements of other relevant EMF standards are excluded from the scope of this standard. This standard only relates to the protection of persons in the general public. It describes also measurement and calculation methods for the assessment of the exposure of persons in the fields mentioned above.
