Modern materials handling operations must be recorded to date, consistently and accurately. The identification systems provide the pure object recognition and already information for the operating data in production, quality testing, installation, etc. The standard describes the known and on the market available identification systems that work with data sources artificially attached on the object.It can be used as a decision support for pre-selection of an optimum identification system for each case. It describes the optical systems such as bar codes, matrix codes etc. and also the electronic systems that work with RFID tags (for example) etc.Use cases are described in tables and various system parameters (eg ranges) for compared purposes.
