VDI 3586:2007-11

The terms and symbols required for the data sheets are updated and expanded taking into account the European standards and the standard DIN ISO 5053. This guideline contains the indications with regard to terms and symbols required for the development of data sheets for industrial trucks according to guideline VDI 2198. It provides recommendations on how these indications can be complemented by manufacturer's data and model specifications in order to guarantee a standardised and as extensive as possible device description when using data processing systems. This guideline applies to industrial trucks according to DIN ISO 5053. This guideline does not apply to: vehicles that - because of their type - are suitable for being used in public road traffic machines (devices) on running gears of road vehicles lorry mounted cranes, lifting platforms, rack operating devices, construction machines, industrial trucks with changeable reach (e. g. with roller jib).
