DIN SPEC 59 Beiblatt 1 supplements DIN SPEC 59 'Guide for addressing environmental issues in product standards (ISO Guide 64:2008)' with regard to additional information on addressing resource protection issues. In line with DIN SPEC 59, the supplement is primarily intended for standard writers. The supplement is also focused on product standards and intends to address all stages of the entire product and service life-cycle ('life-cycle thinking'). The intention of the supplement is to help the user to identify opposing effects within the resource protection and in relation with other protection objectives.
